When A Client Asks, “How Does Muscle Testing Work?”
The clearer you communicate to your client how muscle testing works and how they are to respond, will greatly affect the success of your balancing session.
You might tell your client:
“Muscle testing has been called ‘the language of the body.’ Some compare it to a biofeedback system.
By testing muscles that correspond with certain organs and glands, we are able to find blockages in a person’s energy system. This corresponds closely with Chinese medicine, which asserts that “disease” shows up in the energy system before it hits the body.
Using specialized kinesiology muscle/energy balancing methods, we work with a series of reflexes to correct imbalances. When a particular muscle does not give a strong response, we know that at least a part of that meridian’s circuitry is not functioning properly and needs our attention.
The reflexes we use to bring the body back into balance are much like electrical switches. When they get turned off, we often experience various symptoms affecting our health and vitality. Also, similar to an electrical storm that knocks out the power through a power surge, our body can be knocked out from excess, resulting in “burnout.”
Corrections happen by holding or massaging specific points, tracing electrical pathways along body lines, stimulating the origin and insertion of involved muscles, and possibly working with acupressure holding points. The techniques we choose are determined by positive responses from your muscles.
After receiving a specialized kinesiology balance, the following results have been reported by clients: less pain, more flexibility, better posture, improved focus and memory, better sleep and nerve function, improved digestion, coordination, hearing, vision, balance, fewer headaches, calmer emotions, more motivation and a deep sense of inner calm.”
Vicky Vlachonis, author of The Body Doesn’t Lie, asserts that we can trust what we are feeling. A person skilled in muscle testing has the tools readily available to tap into a wealth of knowledge stored in the unconscious mind affecting our bodies.
What a privilege it is to be able to positively impact the health of those we care for.
