The Difference Between Touch for Health and Specialized Kinesiology Master Series

The way Terri taught this SK course was so easy to understand with examples and explanations and demos that made everything click and I could use what she taught in my practice immediately. Terri is extremely knowledgeable on Specialized Kinesiology and what she shares in her classes will definitely benefit you and your practice.

My Specialized Kinesology Master Series Level 1 shares a few similarities with Touch for Health (TFH), but the former includes several new approaches to balancing the body’s energy system, plus many shortcuts. As a former Touch for Health instructor, here’s my perspective on the primary differences.

SK Master Series Level 1 is a great course for those who’ve taken TFH in the past. Taking TFH training will definitely give you a leg up but is not required in order to successfully use these techniques.

One of the primary differences that students have said make my SK method easier to learn is they only need to work with one indicator muscle which greatly simplifies the balancing process. In TFH Level 1, students are required to learn 14 different muscle tests to perform an energy balance. You’ll use 3 of the same correction techniques you learned in TFH but you’ll learn 20 new methods as well. This course is packed full of shortcuts to balancing the body’s energy system.

  • Acupressure Holding Points (simplified method)
  • Gait Reflexes, plus a non-painful alternative using acupressure
  • Tibetan Figure 8 Energy pathways associated with 14 organs
  • Food and Substance Sensitivity testing
  • Desensitization Protocol
  • Correcting Pyloric Sphincter affecting water absorption.
  • Pause Lock Method created by Dr. Alan Beardall
  • Temporal Tapping (This is different from the EFT).
  • Use of magnet during testing
  • Central Clearing
  • Switching short cut
  • Working with emotion lists
  • New approach to NV Points
  • Combining Cooks posture, ESR, and FOH
  • Self Muscle Testing
  • Verbal testing skills
  • Making your own kits for sensitivity testing
  • Hand Modes (Beardall’s universal 4)
  • Client education
  • Self-care
